John Prendergast, Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant for '18-'19
John is a law graduate who came top of his class in the BCL (Law and Irish) program in University College Cork in 2015.
Following that, in 2016 he completed a Masters in Welsh and Celtic Studies in Cardiff University.
From 2016 to 2018 he was an Ireland Canada University Foundation Irish Language Scholar at Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, in Canada.
John is a native of Tralee, Co. Kerry, with close connections to the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht.
The Department of Irish Language and Literature is delighted to welcome John to Notre Dame and look forward to working closely with him.
